ANAMOLY

Some old artwork from 2017 for a discontinued game project I was working on with some other developers. The team eventually disbanded, but I thought I'd show some look dev I did along the way.
The setting was a plausible-feeling starship set in the near future. My initial designs focused on the ship's overall layout and interior surface design. I wanted strong industrial design elements that were modular and could be easily combined to build out extensive corridors and rooms. The project never went much beyond early development.

Early designs for interiors and living areas using rotating habitats. When accelerating at 1g, the habitats would align horizontally with the ship to provide gravity, but once the ship stopped, the habitats would rotate to create artificial gravity from t

I decided on a modular, repeating interior layout consisting of structural beams and a variety of interior panels that would reflect their different uses. Included are a few finished interior options, raw octane renders, and style guide notes
